Engine Breather
I have a 1970 shovel, My problem is when I let it sit for a few days and start it up engine will blow oil out of breather line from oil pump. After it warms up it doesn't do it anymore until next time I let it sit up for awhile. Does anyone have any ideas ???? Thanks

on your oil pump,their are 2 plugs,the inside one has a spring & check ball(no screen,tappet screen would have nothing to do with this problem).the check ball asks like a needle and seat,not allowing your oil to drain into lower end while not running.theres most likley a piece of dirt,or debries.take out and spray some brake clean and blow out with air,should take care of prob.unless seat in pump is damaged (we can repair it if it is)
