Console insert

Console insert
2009 FLHTC am wondering how to remove console insert and possible replace. Apparently its just a flimsy piece of aluminum and I already have two dimples in it maybe I can pop them out if I can remove?

You remove the console by removing 2 screws, one in the front toward bottom and one in the back top. I'm sure there is probably a couple screws underneath to remove insert.
I thought about changing my insert but the one from HD don't do much for me. I wish there were more options out there. Maybe it's because of the later models with the big tanks.
