Default Handlebar question

Hi all, newbie on the site.

Have an '03 Wide that have had 16" Wild One Chubby's on it since she was 2 weeks old. Got stupid and didn't put the kickstand all the way down and she fell against the wall and bent the bars. Ordered new Chubby 16's and when they came in, I could tell they were different without opening the box. While technically being 16" apes, the geometry of the bars is completely different. Wider grip to grip, lower hand height, different wrist angle. I have alot of miles on this bike, with these bars, and they have been extremely comfortable. Scared to death that I will be losing my great ride.

Anybody know of a place in the L.A. area that could fix the bars? Or a place I could find the original Wild One Chubby 16's with the old geometry?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'd start by calling Wild One and see if they can help you. I wouldn't try and getting the bars fixed, the integrity would be weakened.

Call the manufacturer. To bend bars you would have to use a jig, the chrome might crack. might be more of a hassle than just bending them back.
