I'm looking for the paint code or other information on the paint for the bike you see listed in my garage. I had painted the front fender to try to match the OEM sheetmetal I had found on E-Bay for the bike I just built. Sheetmetal was off supposedly a 1993 or 1994 FLST.
I "thought" it was Charcoal Satinbrite 35705 but once it was sprayed it looks more like the 100'th Anniversary paint, a little Blue tinge to it. But I don't see any obvious candidates for other Charcoal Grey on the PPG paint codes list.
But there's also the possibility we just didn't do something we should have done, like use the wrong base, not add Pearl or something. And of course the possible simple explanation like we painted this over the SunGlo Red fender which we just scuffed and sprayed over...
I'm one of those damm perfectionists and may go back to do this again if I can only figure out what may be the problem so if you have some thoughts, feel free to throw your 2 cents.

I believe it's the 35705. I have the same numbers.
Thanks, it's probably that I didn't use a white base or something. It was the SunGlo Red that we just wetsanded and sprayed over. I'm not remembering my primary colors real well but I think the red and gray made it tinge slightly blue. Once it's not subzero temps out I'll take it out in the sun and see if it really shows. Thanks for your input.
