Question le pera seat? comfortable?

have 08 street bob, bought it with an enormous double seat on it and want to put a good looking solo seat on it..

really like how the le pera's look. sanora is reasonable priced too.

only question is they look pretty thin, never sat on one

comfortable for long ride?

broke tailbone before and dont wanna go on 200 mile trips with a seat that's gonna torture my ***

thankkkksssss

then dont go for looks... sorry to break the news but if you ask most of the guys at the dealership here in town they will tell you they ride to work on the sleek slim seat and as soon as a ride comes up they throw on the fat old man seat

check into a custom seat. Mean City does good work.
And I like my BAR seat, built for my weight height and riding style.

just bought the le pera barebones and here's what i have to report vs. the stock solo street bob seat.

both less and more comfortable for me.

the seat has much less padding and therefore you feel more of the ride vs. the stock seat. doesn't bother me much because i have a big *** and can handle a bump or two. but it is less comfortable going over rough roads than the stock seat.

however the seat is thinner than the stock seat. with the stocker, my inner thighs would be worn out after a decent ride because i'd have to almost squeeze them together to keep my feet on the forward control pegs. now there's none of that so my legs are less fatigued after a ride.

plus, i'm flatfooted at stops.

two thumbs up in my book.

Default My *** is toasty

Gentlemen,

I put a Mustang seat on within days of buying my latest edition I wanted the versatility of a solo but able to add two up. Two and half years later i absolutely love the seat. I broke my tail bone as well a year ago and no problems riding long distance. I think the Mustang Solo gives it a old school look with new school comfort.
