Default h-d nav ?

How many people have the h-d nav system with a broken cradle - the part that goes into the fairing mount?

the cradle did in fact break on the faring mount. When I took it into the dealer.... they covered it.... the gal in parts said it was a common break and they replaced several of them.....

What exactly is breaking? The mount that stays on the fairing of something else? Anyone got a picture? Have they done anything to remedy this? I've read other posts stating not to buy the fairing mount for the GPS. Trouble is, I like it there and have considered buying the HD GPS with fairing mount. The location is more in your line of sight than a handlebar mount. I have the radar detector on the fairing mount on the left side of the fairing and it has functioned flawlessly for a year.
