Default 1939 Flathead

I just got a 39 45 cc flathead. The VIN has a G in it which means the motor is from a servi car but it is a two wheeler. Everything is there, I think, but I am a novice when it comes to somethings older than an Evo. I really need some directions to know more about this MC and what I need to know to get it running and keep it that way. As far as I can see, all it need is oil, gas, battery and a good kick, and it should start. But need to know more about this MC before I go forward. Thanks for your help, Gregg
