Default Smart Siren Install Help!

I recently purchased a 2008 Sportster XL1200 Custom

It came with the factory alarm system

I purchased the SMART SIREN option from eBay

I have ripped almost everything apart to try and find the correct triangular type connector in the wiring harness and under the seat to connect the smart siren to.

Can't find it anywhere. I tried a couple of HD dealers to help me find the wire but they are scratching their heads OR they want me to pay them money just to point out the wire.

Can anyone out there please help with this.

Thanks so much,

Josell

Are you sure you have the correct one? Here is the instruction sheet for part #'s 68352-04B & 68352-06B that fit '04-later XL and XR models. Looking at the diagram the harness plug does not appear to be triangular, looks more like rectangular with 3 pins.

Yes, this is the exact same diagram I have but the kit I have has the triangel plug and it has been verified to be the correct kit for my bike.

I just don't feel like paying HD 2 hours labor just so they can find this stupid wire. I don't understand why I can't seem to find it anywhere. Do you have the same bike by any chance?

Thanks

Josell

I don't see why you can't adapt the connector if it's different, as long as you follow the schematic.
