Default 2002 RoadKing

I have a 2002 RoadKing with a ticking problem between 1000 and 2000 RPM when accellorated. I have installed gear driven cams, replaced lifter and added a big bore kit and a S&S Carb. I cannot determine what the noise is. Is there any help out there for me?

most likely just a harmonic vibration.....check the easy stuff like shift linkage and levers and pedals. Then move on to checking for loose bolts...motor mount is really common for vibrating loose.

Sometimes a leak in the exhaust will sound like a ticking sound. Either that or it could be lifters or a few other things too.

Try to localize where the noise is coming from.
