Recently, I have changed the hand grips. When I test the throttle movement, It doesn't go back to the normal position. I tried to adjust the throttle and idle cables but it didn't work! I fully opened and closed both but still nothing had changed. Do you think I need to lubricate it? Or what should I do to solve this issue?
Won't hurt to lubricate. I had same prob it was my idle cable to tight. It should just hit top of spring. I would back idle all the off adj throttle see that helps
Readjust. Loosen the cables. Open the throttle grip all the way and hold it there. Adjust the pull cable until the bellcrank hits its stop. Release the grip so that it returns to its stop. Now adjust out the slack in the push (idle) cable until there is about 1/8" turn in the grip. If it doesn't return to stop extend the idle cable a bit at a time until it does.
I just ahd that same problem. The throttle would stick and not snap back. One thing I found was a little piece of black half moon shaped do-dad. This fits on the inside off the housing which is for the throttle lock. If that is not in straight you will have problems.
