I bought some black hottoppers for my 07 FXDL. I am having trouble getting the toppers on the top and bottom bolts that secure the shocks to fit. I checked the HT website and they sent the correct parts, I just cannot seem to figure out how to get them on.
Anyone with any ideas, I would love to hear them.
Also, if I can't get them to fit, how would you proceed to "black out" these bolts?

If they fit on the bolts but do not stay on just use a dap of clear silicone inside the hot topper. I have the black ones for my rotor bolts and had that broplem. Silicone worked like a charm. They have been on there now for over a year.

 

Unfortunately, they really do not seem to fit on the bolts.
