Interchangeable parts help 1994 softail

it depends on which parts you are looking for..some parts are specific to softail like frame, swing arm, shocks, fender struts.. some parts will fit just about anything. for the most part, the MOCO doesn't change a whole lot if they don't have to.. i had a 2004 softail custom front wheel on my 72 ElectraGlide once, it bolted rite on.. that year, you could bolt in any bigtwin engine from a Knucklehead to a Evo. with some work, i saw a article on a late 80's softail trike with a twincam engine last week. the touring bikes, and of course sportsters are more specialized with parts, but a lot of them are still interchangeable with other models too.. if a part looks like it will swap over, it probably will
