y'all ain't so worthless after all. I take it back. On the way back from Flag yesterday my Dyna started snapping, poping, backfiring, and in general acting up. I stopped to see if anything was obviously wrong but all looked fine and tight. At first I thought, "Bad gas" but then "No, it's not pinging or knocking." Then I thought back to this here forum and said to myself, "Self, this here scoot is running lean." Soon as I said that, it started running okay again. Later, as I approched home it started doing it again, "POP, b-blam, b-blam." Then I remembered somebody on the forum stating that even with a remap, H-D sets the EFI to run borderline lean and any small air leak could cause such a prob. So I ran upstairs and did a search on "air leaks." Well guess what? Up pops your "Finding Intake Leaks" article. I found the leak, fixed it, changed the plugs, and it runs like a top. Thanx, to all of you who post problems, solutions, and helpful hints. And especially TC for his DYI forums.[sm=hail.gif]
