Dangling Signal Lights from Hell
I installed a Krome Werks rigid mount sissy bar on my 2012 sportster today, which for the most part went smoothly. However, I havent't been able to get the turn signals back on properly. On both sides, I can't seem to get the bolt to follow the threads into the back of the housing on the signals. Cranking away with my trusty wrench I can get the nut on under the fender just as tight as anything, but I just can't get the turn signal to do anything but dangle!
I'm pretty handy but this is my first bike and I'm still figuring things out. Is there something obvious I'm missing?

I wish! I was tired, which is why I decided to give up for the night, but since my bike is my primary mode of transportation I'm pretty eager to get it back in running order. We'll see how it goes, but I'd still love any advice I can get!
