I have a plexiglass windshield for my harley road king that has a cloudy film on it from sitting around. The windshield was sitting around and I was cleaning it after I reinstalled it but the cloudy film (not greasy) does not seem to come off. Is there some cleaner that can clear this up?

By chance is that an original factory shield?
Any possibility that Rain-X originally was placed on it?
reason: Rain-X original damages the film coating on the original factory lexan shield.
