Default Looking for saddlebag guidance!
1998 FLSTC, want to get rid of the factory soft saddle bags and convert to hard saddle bags. Want to do this with the least amount of headaches, so I am looking for guidance. Are there hard bags that work with the soft bag mounting frame? What model hard bags will fit? I have read it has to be FLH bags. What modifications should I need to make ahead of time? The goal, convert to extended hard saddle bags and an extended rear fender w/out exhaust cut outs. Thank you in advance for the help.

Bump, still looking for guidance. I know someone has had to have put hard bags on one of these by now.
