Lightbulb Lost power?

Starting from square one. Black (trip meter) cover fell off of my 02 Heritage EFI. I took off the dash panel and replaced it. The next day I rode 20 miles and the bike quit like it ran out of fuel. One sputter and done. I discovered that the ignition switch had melted as well as the plug from wiring harness. I replaced the ignition switch as well as the starter relay switch. When the ignition switch is in either possition START or ACC the thing would start. I found that the ignition switch and wire conectors were getting quite warm. Checked and secured the GROUNDS. Now the bike will not start and no lights besides brake and front fender work. Horn works as well. I do hear the EFI or maybe the FUEL pump but not both when ignition is turned on. NO codes on speedo or lights on dash (oil or engine). Battery full charge and on trickle. ANY IDEAS??? Please and Thanks all
