I am trying to find a hard noise from the front suspension every time I hit a bump in road and for a hard front braking. The front fork clamp bolts are tight and the tree clamp is tight, I am running out of ideas. Oh I live in vermont with the worst roads with lots of holes and uneven pavement. So any ideas would be good. My bike is a 2005 heritage softail classic.

 

Before you start looking at the front end...tighten the gas tank bolts with two wrenches.
I bet the front end is fine and it is the front tank bolt.
