Timer Covers

Hi

I am gonna jaz up my bike as best I can, but am new to this, I wanna change my timing cover on my Sportster 1200c. Is this a difficult job or can I just switch covers over.

Should be able to switch over with no problem, just see if you have rivits in there now or if they are screws. You can drill out the pop rivits if they are and replace them with same if the holes are not threaded, other wise use screws in the new cover.

nothing should fall out, make sure to not leave any metal in the cavity if you drill out rivets
