tail light issues

Default tail light issues
So my bike decided to start having issues with her tail light. The brake lights work fine but her running light is out. I thought it mite be a bad bulb so I put a new one in and she is still having the same problem. No running light. I have taken the housing off and cleaned all the connections and checked all the wires for a loose fitting but found nothing. Everything looks fine. I had at one point just giggled the wires around to see if it was just a loose fitting and that worked for one ride but now the light is completely out and adjusting the wires does'nt work. Any ideas??

If wiggling the wires worked once and it stays out now I'd venture to say there is a bad/broken wire someplace or a corroded connection.
