Hotwiring a remote with Intellicode
I had the old style garage opener wired to a speedometer reset button and it was fantastic. Now that the old opener bit the dust, my new system( Genie Powerlift 900) has the intellicode system and I'm not having success getting this new remote wired to work. You can see in the picture that it has 3 sets of contacts( for 3 different openers). 
You can see that the top set of contacts was made useless on my first attempt, so I'm using the middle set as my opener in regular operation. Anyone out there modified this type of remote? Any help would be appreciated, Thx Pat
