Default Looking for engine builder

Hey all, does anyone know of a good engine builder her in Mich? Every time I talk to someone they always refer to ppl that are in a different state. I'm willing to drive, but would like to find someone local here in Mich. Thanks!

I look for what I consider to be the best, regardless of distance. I live in Ohio and one of my engines is in Florida at Vee Twin Racing right now. That said, Roeder in northern Ohio is good as well. If you get the job done by someone who really knows what they're doing, you'll enjoy the build long after you've forgotten the price or the time it took to take it somewhere not so close to home.

Hey to each their own, I would just prefer to find someone closer. I want to be able to take the bike to them so they can do the work and install.

Depending on where you live in Michigan, I'd give Roeder a hard look. The family has a performance pedigree.

Thanks for the recommendation! I'm in Warren, just outside of Detroit. Where are they located?

Would I be able to ship all my components for engine build to the builder and they build it and ship it back instead of having to take the bike to them? I don't know if ppl do that or not.
