I'll be doing it again this year. Last year was somewhat of a test of endurance. Weather was bad. Rain. Wet snow. Cold. All this and, I am going to do it again. I'm a real nut case. Good group of folks. Real road riders. Hamburgers in moonshine OK but, not necessarily the best I've ever had. It's a good run for me to start off the year's riding adventures.
What day are you getting there? We can't leave Indy until Saturday morning so we hope to get there in time to take the ride out to the Moonshine store. If not I'm sure the Saturday night stuff and Sunday breakfast will be fun. This will be our first bike trip so we are really looking forward to it. I'll be on my Harley Ultra with the wife and my son will be on a black Honda VTX1300. Hope the weather will be better this year! See you there!
They are having another Moonshine Run this year on June 7th I belived during the Illinois State HOG Rally in Effingham, IL. I believe it's leaving from Legacy Harley Davidson and they are trying to break the record. This is three weeks before the 3rd Annual HDF Midwest Rally that I'm hosting at Legacy Harley Davidson on teh 27th of June.
As of Monday (4/7/08), this weekend doesn't look to good now for the Moonshine Run. Mid 40s during the afternoon and mid-30s in the early mornings. 40 percent chance of rain too! Hopefully the forecast will change! I'm not up to riding that far in the cold rain.
