I was wondering if you were going to go this year. You are more than welcome to join us again if you like. I think we'll have a little bigger group this year and hopefully you don't have to freeze your a$$ off on the way down.
You're on, I will shoot you a call I still have your number on the cell phone! I am trying to talk my neighbor into goin but either way let's hookup and ride. No kidding last year was a cold and wet one for me.

Sounds good! We may have a little bigger group than last year. Hopefully the weather is better.
It turned out to be a great riding day with friends. Traffic was backed up a couple of miles out of Maiden Rock,WI. That's how we gauge the turnout. It's also a great fundraiser for a worthy cause.
4 of us rode down from Lake Vermilion. Stayed in Lester Prairie. Came home, 206 mi., cold,on Sun. Fri. -Sat. great weather. Mabe 30.000 bikes. 1075 total mi.. We are planning on the fall run also.
The weather was very good for this time of year, the rain held off. This was my first Flood Run, I went with a couple of friends. We ended up going down the MN side to Winona and then back up the WI side. By the time we went through Nelson it looked like the party had started.
I don't understand why people can't throw in ten bucks. I am sure some of you do, but many, many, many people don't.
I like this ride because there are so many options and you basically can customize the route to fit your needs. This is only my second Flood Run, and last fall we got sidelined before we ever hit Maidenrock, so I am a rookie.
Our group had a great ride, made several stops for food and drinks, checked out lots scenery and overall had a fantastic day (until the very end when my bike acted up and I had to limp her home).
Thats whats nice about this run, if the weather is bad in the spring, there is always the Fall FloodRun. Last spring it rained on our parade; so we did the fall one. That was nice weather. This is Minnesnowta (& Wisconsin) after all...
The Fall www.Floodrun.org is going off tomorrow (sat the19th)! The weather will be almost perfect for a late season ride with friends; a high of 80 degrees. It might be one of the last (local) chances to see a lot of our 'leather sisters' dressed down for warm weather. It's a good fund raiser for only $10.00. We'll be at the 'NoName Saloon' @ noon for a BloodyMary. Look for us in black!
