Anybody heading to Tomahawk?

 

Leaving Friday am with the wife.....staying at Bubba's Big Party.
Hope to make it up to Northern Lights HD for lunch and in the afternoon tour the plant.
Will be hanging around Sara Park and downtown Friday night.
Ride hard all day Saturday and later party hard with Edgar Winter!!!!
Looks like the weather is going to be nice. (knock-knock)

just got back and will never go again. stayed at bubbas, seen more partying at a morgue.

 

oh i did not mention the RV RALLIE THAT WAS GOING ON AT BUBBAS? dident see much for bikes. alot of them must have broke down, becouse ther were a lot being hauld out on trailers.

 

Newspaper article said they had between 30 and 40,000 riders attended. Riders donated over $120,000.00 to MDA. Locals were all happy to have the riders in and appreciated the influx to the business community. I stayed in wausau. rode to surrounding areas and had a blast. I was wondering what Bubbas was like when I went to northern lights, now I know.

 

we rode past bubba's sat. afternoon around 4pm. it looked like a RV world, trailer extravaganza. its embarrassing.

 

I have to agree with bagga......We were all excited about staying there this year, since the last few years
have been wet and COLD and we missed out staying in Tomahawk.
Still remember the years at the speedway.....thought it would be like that.
When we got there it looked like a typical music festival gathering.
Too many trailers and motorhomes for me.
We ended up staying about a mile away and tenting with a group from Iowa....had a Blast.
Tomahawk is getting to be one of those BIG events for sure.
