Anyone been to the Tomahawk fall ride? I was thinking of going with a few friends, I've heard its a good weekend of fun but not sure on vendors or shows. Any info on where to camp or what to expect? We ride in Wi quite a bit but usually on west side, up and down the river.

Been going for more than a few years and always have a good time! The Tomahawk area is a really beautiful area to ride. We usually put on about 400 miles just riding around the north woods over the weekend.
There are quite a few vendors spread out all over town and some fun rides, too, including a parade. Saturday night they shut the whole downtown down and put up stages at both ends of the main drag with bands.
Was there in 07. I agree with bands on both ends of town and locals selling food, etc was great. In 07 it was a HOG event and the roads were perfect. Enjoy!!

google maps, search "campground"
you can expect lots of motorcycles.
just go, you'll figure it out.
I've been there the last 3 years and always have a good time. You can camp right at Bubba's which is one of the main areas. Look at the link below for all the info. you'll need. There are vendors downtown on main street and Sara Park + more at the camp grounds a few miles north.
Went last year as well. It was effin cold and kinda rainy but everyone in our group said they would go again. So we are.
Leaving Thursday morning even though the long range forecast is calling for a high of 68 and rain (again) on Friday. Oh well, riding in the rain is still riding.
