Those pipes look kinda neat. I wonder if they are true duals or have the VH crossover like the bigshots do. Or is that crossover thing just a marketing thing?

No idea, they have no information on their site, just a small amount on their facebook page.

I hear you AFFM3, same as when the FLD first came out. Still haven't seen one in town yet so I'm still a one off!

My father's project is getting close to finish. I like the Shovelhead battery cover, but even better is the Shovelhead oil tank on the other side serving as the electrical cover.

That bike looks great - good inspiration. Did he have to extend his rear fender like we did, or was it already wrapped? I like the way that mustang fits on there with the battery cover. Coming up on my next week off and the final fitting and welding of my fender extension. Time to check out some paint schemes. I flew over a nice looking road the other day which will be a good first ride once she's all done.

His bike is an 05, so the rear fender would be narrower than 06 and newer. That is a brand new replica of a FLH Shovelhead fender. He changed to a (repaired) Street Bob tank so he could put a Shovelhead style console and 5 inch speedo on it. I know the floorboards are a one off. The brake system is still using a brake rod and the master cylinder was not moved. That is a Shovelhead FLH engine guard connected to the floorboards. Once again, the front end is 1960-84, utilizing new parts from BKRider. Front fender is Electra-Glide and front wheel is a Sportster/Dyna rear wheel. There is also a big, fat Shovelhead chain guard replacing the stock belt guard. That really looks good. When I get a finished picture, I will post it.

BTW, this July, we are leaving our Electra-Glides at home and taking our FL Dynas from one end of the Mississippi River to the other. In the past, I have carried my kid's stuff while he rode his Nightster. He is going to have to work on how to travel heavy.
