how does forward controls fit with the short shots anyone have both ? knock knock anyone there....

Hey Bludgeon, i have the forward controls and short shots on mine and they are good. I'm actually wanting to try to extend them further. I'm only 5'8" tall, but the bend at my knees kills me on long rides. Also will be needing a new seat as that's really the worst part.

BTW, laid my bike down Labor Day weekend, decided to visit my brother in Houston instead of doing the 3 sisters ride...rain got me in Milano and laid it down. Some road rash on my arms and knee and $1600 damage to the bike =( Worst weekend ever.

yoacedeuce, sorry to hear you laid her down! I hope you and the bike are back up and riding? I've been slammed at work with no time to log on for a while. Any of you guys going to Myrtle Beach (or North Myrtle) for the fall rally this weekend? It has been really quite, but I figure if nothing else it will be a long weekend off work for me!

Hey guys....... Yeah, I'm still alive and kicking. finally got the $$$$$ together and Medusa is on the operating table. Still battling it out with the company, but that's a story i will tell when it is all over. Barring any unforeseen problems I should have her back and on the road in about 2 1/2 weeks.

Great news Soup (that you will be riding again soon anyway!) Hopefully it all works out with the warranty issues.

Still waiting for HD to send the shop a new gas tank...i think it's the last part they need to finish her up, then i'll be riding again. Fortunately it's been raining alot here in North Dallas, so i'm not missing too much.
