Went on a nice group ride yesterday to benefit an organization that helps out battered women. Got about 700 miles on the bike so far, and loving it.

Ugh. I barely got over my 500 mile "breakin". Weather has been SO crappy. And today is only going to be in the 20's (F). So ...... looks like the bikes will be blanketed and put on the trickle charger this weekend. Sad day indeed.

Living in SE TX, it's year round riding for me...so far, I've got 580 miles on the bike with no regrets trading in my '04 Kawi Z1000 for the SB.

Anyone put a Sissy Bar on a Street Bob that has the solo seat? Any pics?

I will never ride a passenger, so do not intend to get a different seat. I know I could put a rack on the back for a bag when going on a trip, but was wondering how it would look to put a sissy bar (probably a mid to tall one) on because that way I could put a taller bag (or multiple smaller ones). I had a rack on my Nightster which also had the solo seat, and I could only use a very small bag on it.

Great News! The OL just finished her HD riders edge course! She did awesome! Afterwards we went for a ride, I'm so proud now we can ride together...well at the same time...er.. you know what I mean.

I also am really bummed about the weather, it got unusually cold here in PA faster than normal..
Its snowed a few times already, not that it hangs around long, but just making me look at the Bob in the garage.
I only got a few hundred miles on it before the cold has hit...jealous of the people in warmer climates!!

Hey Perch...when you find out something new about the sissy bar let us please know. I'm always looking for a possiblity to carry my luggage and comfy riding position...I have a luggage rack that looks good but you cannot use it for heavy items and when you go for a weekend trip you need a lot of stuff....
