I just picked up a Bushtec Turbo 2 trailer and was wondering if there are aftermarket wheels available? Or just through Bushtec? Have not had much luck searching!
I agree with Uncle Larry. I haven't seen any other vendors offering replacement rims for the Bushtec trailer. Part of the reason for that might be the way Bushtec mounts the tires on the trailer, basically using a bolt as an axle. One might be able to make a Yakima RackAndRoll spare work, but you'd have to replace the wheel bearings (6302-2RS) in the Yakima rim with one that has a 5/8" (0.625) bore diameter. I have no idea if that even exists. Plus you would need to figure out if this wheel is wider than a Bushtec rim and if the spindle on the trailer is long enough. Not really worth the effort.
Years ago Bushtec offered a variety of mag wheels. They were very expensive $1600 a pair complete with tires & bearings. I was lucky to find these mags at a fraction of new.

I have had A Bushtec trailer for about 18 years. And I have never seen nothing but bushtec wheels. for Bushtec trailers. I use to keep a spare wheel for mine. Then Bushtec changed tires. to what is a 50 miles run flat tire. I was told by bushtec rep. So now I keep a new tube with me and that's it. Never had a flat pulling one
