Sidecar

I ride a 2017 softail slim s. Iv seen a post her that someone had a sidecar built for the same bike. All that I want is info on how I can make that happen. My wife is wheelchair bound so a sidecar is the only option for her to ride with me.

Reach out to smitty901 here on the forum. He’s the sidecar king when it comes to rigging things up. There’s a sidecar section as well that would serve you well.

You CAN make it happen!

It can be done. Your personal commitment will be tested against your wallet.

I have been riding hacks for 22 years of my 50 years continuous on bikes. I spent a lot of money on hacks until I started to read and learn, learn and read, then tweek, tweek, tweek. If you can do some it will save you a bunch. Do not be overwhelmed. It can seem like you are crawling up a cliff at times.

Try to find others who have made it to the top of the mountain. Gain knowledge from them as well.

I tell you that if you do persevere, you and your wife will be absolutely delighted. you both will NEVER be the same. It is indeed worth every bit of the struggle.
