Sidecar on a Dyna

what year? my dad tried one on a 2014 FXDL, fit up ok but just did not feel comfortable, also the later models have a bank angle sensor which will shut off the motor in the event of a drop over, but it will also do it with a sidecar around a sharp corner due to the lateral thrust and the program can not be changed in the computer to eliminate that, the touring models can have the computer program changed though.

Bank angle can be shut off in ECM. Just have to have the right dealer.

this was a DMC, the guy there said had to be done at harley dealer, we took it there and 2 dealers said the program in the dyna computer can not be changed to sidecar mode, the touring models yes. anyway dad ended up selling it and the dealer separated the bike and side car and sold them separately.

Simplest way to put it they are not being truthful.
My sidecar that was on the 2017 is now going on the 2020.
