I put the locking glove box covers on yesterday....very well made. I took the one with the cup holder to a machine shop here in Caldwell and had two holes drilled out on the top. Now I have the wires for XM radio put thru and locked the cover so no steal my radio.
Folks with TG's or Ultras should check out Hog Troughs and order them...well worth the money.
Im thinking of getting them. Are they easy to put on? Are the keys matched to the keys on the bike?
If you order the ones HD makes, they are keyed to match the bike. We put them on our Tri-Glide and like them. They are easy to install. You do have to drill out the old snaps, but thats no problem.
Yes, you can. A locksmith can key the glove boxes to your bike key. I opted not to do that because some HD bike keys are generic and can open anything (so I've heard).

Ha-ha......These covers look so good and excellent finish. You can order them with or without the water bottle hanger. You also get a nice big cup and snap-on water bottle. Two keys are provided. A locksmith can key the holders to your bike key if you don't want to carry an extra key.
If I find anything else 'we' can't live without Ironhorse...will be sure to let you know

Could you tell me what brand you got as I like the idea of not drilling out the rivets. Also the cost. Is it possible to put a picture on. Thanks Carmine

The reason I went with the HD doors is that they have a hinge on them so the door does not come off every time you open it like the old snap style did. They also have a weather seal that helps keep water out so things will not get wet. Yes you do have to drill the old snaps out so you can bolt the new door frame on, but thats no big deal since the snaps are plastic.

I agree, it probably took me 20 min. each side to complete. I would also recommend getting the Glove Box Liner Kit, P/N58714-06 $26.95. This prevents things like glasses from rattling around and possibly getting broke.
