Tri Glide Catalyst Converter
Can anyone clarify for me the location of the Cat on the 09 TG? I have an 09 CVO Ultra, and the cat is / was in the head pipe. I changed it with a stock 96 in head pipe, no more cat, I have been told that the TG has the cat in the mufflers, and the head pipe is open, can anyone share their experiences with me regarding this? I am a new Tri Glide owner, and am looking to make her "Breathe" and cool down some, I have a set of SE performance touring mufflers that I had on my 07 CVO. Im 99.9% sure there in the mufflers. Now the inside of the Mufflers do not look the same from the left one lookes different then the right. I think only one has a cat the other is more open. My 06 Sporty's stock mufflers were cats. The 07 sporty were non cats account it's EFI the 06 is Carbed Its a EPA thing to meet a certain Emission standerds. I put SE Slipons for a 07 FLHT on my TRI non cats With SE air filter, and HD super tuner with a down load for 103ci flat top pistons. Sounds good runs great. Richer inside of pipes black not gray like on the stock set up. Runs cooler.
