Thought I would post a pic of the Hitch Doc installed. Also one of my saddle bag secure for the rear post only. Welded a 5/16 cap nut to a plate sheared to the shape of the rear bracket and pop rivet it on.

Nice looking Hitch.....I'm using the same setup.
Haven't gone the welded nut way yet, but I do bolt/nut up one of the two mounts. Leave the HD clip in the other.
I've seen a few bags go bouncing down the road.....Not mine.
Not something to laugh about, but it sure is funny to see.

I have been there done that with the quick release and bag.
Here is a pick of where I mounted the six pin receptacle for the trailer wireing. Trailer is a Tailwind with it's own battery and relays.
