I have a low end cargo trailer that I use mostly for work. Have had it 5+ years...don't even remember the name brand. Was $600 new, delivered to my door. It has been a reliable workhorse.
We also have a Lee-Sure Lite pop-up camping trailer that we've used for a couple of years. We have also had an old Time-Out and a new BunkHouse. Lee-Sure Lite is the fastest setup and breakdown. Been real happy with it.
I've got a champion trailer and it is sweet... Had it for about 5 years now and have towed it something over 20k without any problems. Has independent torsion bar, air shock suspension. Interior carpet with light which helps in the dark.... Can't tell you about customer service as I've not had any issues with the trailer where I needed to call Champion. Well thats not true, I got rear ended in Miles City MT a couple years ago and needed a tail light which champion got to me within a few days...
She is water tight and will float across a flooded intersection if you need it to. I found that out in Loveland CO when I needed to cross an intersection to get to the motel during a terrible thunderstorm.
Look at www.tourtectrailers.com. Solid and spacious. Room on the front for a cooler and rack on top for extra bags. You can have it painted and pinstriped to match your bike.
I mostly ride solo, so I bought a uni-go single wheel trailer. Tracks in line with the motorcycle's rear wheel. Weighs somewhere in the area of 70 lbs, so issues braking even when loaded. Just completed a trip from New Jersey to Gaspe, Quebec and used the uni-go to haul two 3-4 man tents, sleeping bags, thermarest matresses, a propane stove and coffee pot and other small objects. A lot of roads in the Gaspe are under construction and vary between hard and soft packed gravel. No sway, no noticable impact on fuel mileage, and no issues.
Weve got a trail master aspen classic pop up.It has a king size bed 25 cu ft of storage.took it on a 4400 mile trip this year w/o a single issue.Sets up in about 5 mins.it has ind. Torsion suspension and a swivel hitch.
