Sidecar Help!
I am new to the forum but I need some help/advice!
I am looking for a 2003 100th Anniversary sidecar, to attach to my 2003 Ultra Classic.
I have been looking for a while (ebay and asking a few dealers), but finding just the sidecar is proving to be a bit difficult. Do you have any advice, tips, or recommendations on where to look or who to ask?
Thank you so very much!
To find something used and to make matters worse like locating a certain brand, you have to be at the right place at the right time.
You may have to expand your search to sidecar forums,Craigs List out of state,etc-.

The effort in the search has to exceed your desire for the item.
I think your wise in wanting to find one, the prices on the sidecars have no place to go but up, and with the 100th Anniversary bike and sidecar its going to be a plus.
I saw the bike and sidecar that I have now in the 07 Harley Davidson catalog in the Colorshop section. The paint, sidecar and the sheetmetal was a $14,995 option, in addition to the price of the bike. Minimum out the door price was right at $37,000. A little rich for my blood, there were only 15 of these made, and Dealers bought most of them. I found one at a dealership in Ohio in 2010, he wanted $39,000 Firm, it only had 2500 mi., still out of my range. Finally found one in Dallas, #11 of 15, they were asking $24,900 for it, I got it for $23,900 and it had 1750 mi on it, and the owner had the 103 cu in Screamin Eagle motor option installed when he bought the bike. This bike with all the options out the door was $44,000. (I have all original receipts).
So, what you want is out there, you just gotta find it, search the internet every day and you'll find one. When you find it, don't dally around, you better be ready to jump, cause it won't last long!
(3 months after I bought mine I saw another one just like it in Ky. for sale for $33,000 it was #13 of 15, I called to ask him about it and it sold the second day it was posted)
