Default converting to trike need your input

Because of health I would like to convert my
Street Glide to a trike.
Also I have a tour pack and would like to keep it.
Anybody know what kind of price I am looking at?
Thanks

You just might get better info from the Tri-Glide forum.

A lot depends on what kit you get and how much or if you do any work yourself ,from what I have seen you can go $15000 easy , if you can swing the extras I think the independent rear suspention is the way to go , there are a lot of trikes out there that people don't like but a lot do so read a lot , I check them out just in case but not ready yet

This guy makes a quality product. I have actually toured his shop and he uses top of the line components.

I have been doing the research myself, even went to the local harley dealer about going with a tri-glide. He pointed me towards Motor Trike. I have looked at them and agree with him that they seem to be the nicest due to the IRS, on board Air Ride, and I love the floorboards. I talked to the local Motor trike dealer yesterday and in looks like the completed deal will be under 13000. Thats without reverse, raking or parking brake. With them around 15000.

I converted by FLT with a Frankenstein kit. It has no rear body, but you keep tour pak, use there rear fenders and exhaust, and do exchange on swingarm. I did not want a rear body. My conversion including the raked front tree was approx $6,000-$6,500. Very good quality kit.

I've gotta ask the obvious here, did the Harley dealer say why they would have recommended Motor Trike over the Tri-Glide to an end customer? Sorry, but curiosity always gets the best of me!

He sure did, he stated that they have the best warranty and that the independent rear was the best. As much as he would have sold me a new one he stated a second time that the ride is outstanding. He then went on and said harley needs to wake up and get away from the fixed rear on the triglide.
On Saturday I stopped by leola motortrike and took a conversion with IRS and the air ride suspention and WOW is all I can say it was smooth and I followed the dealer or some nasty bumpy road. I'm sold.

parking brake no biggie , reverse would be nice , the rake from what little I know but have heard I think is a must but for $2000 I think it would be a big advantage

Go Motortrike with IRS and if you have ABS you can maintain it also...Or trade for a TriGlide with straight axle...IRS for me when it comes to trike...
