Fuel Pump Recall
I started having issues again with my pump. I called the dealership to let them know. The service manager called HD and on 8/10 they issued a recall for the fuel pumps on the street 500/750.

The recall first tries a fix. If that does not work a new redesigned pump is needed. The fix is a ECM flash and a check of a fitting at the bottom of the existing pump. It is like a grommet and has come loose on some units.
The fix did not work on mine and the dealer was authorized to replace. They must try the fix first and it works the majority of the time.
I put over 2,000 miles on mine since the replacement and it works great.
