When I lived in Lexington Park, Md; my roommate who was an Osprey Engineer took me to a hanger and I got to go onboard a V2. It is quite a weird piece of machinery. Saw one flying while there too. Also sadly, I worked with a woman who's husband and brother were killed in an Osprey crash.

Just about every one that has ever been built has crashed. They have been working out the bugs since the late '80s. They were supposed to replace the aged fleet of Ch-46E's for the Marine Corps. In a former life as a Marine, I worked on CH-46E's on active duty with HMM-165 and I feel a hell of a lot safer flying in one of our Battle Phrogs with fluid leaking everywhere then in one of those Opsreys. Phrogs Forever!
