Harley Davidson VideosPost Video and Sound clips here. This forum is for videos pertaining to Harleys, Racing (Street/Strip)and motorcycle related Interviews.
The first video looked to me like the guy in front let off his throttle and it caused him to slow with no brake lights and the other guy was moving too fast and hit his brake in a panic.
Following too close. The crash with the two guys going head over heals...who knows? The guy passing in the turn, should be hung by his *****.
I hate wearing a helmet but do, and I don't move the bike more then ten feet without gloves on. Even a little crash can mess up your hands big time, and I don't want anyone to have to wipe my *** or help me ****.
I'm not sure what caused the first one.. following too close... not paying attention.. whatever. The second one, the car passing on a blind turn, that guy should lose his license forever.. and I hope.. he was held responsible for every penny and then some.. I saw a similar thing, without the accident this weekend.. a cage passing a horse and buggy on a blind left hand turn on the crest of a hill.. unbelievable..

Yep, see this all the time around here. We have a fairly large Amish community. People just can't seem to be able to wait and safely pass those buggys and motorcycles are definetly not considered oncoming traffic...
I've done that exact thing on the first video My bike fell and slid the exact same way. Yes, I was also following too closely, and not paying attention. Learned me a good lesson that day.
That was a Suzuki at the European bike rally in Faaker See in Austria. I don't think my Fatboy has good enough brakes to do that so easy. Once you've locked the front wheel like that you're going down for sure. I did it on my first bike, a Triumph, back in 1973 and I still have a couple of scars.
