I'm happy Nic got the part, because he's a nice guy, a Harley owner, AND the perfect actor/persona to play the role of "Johnny Blaze". But what I'm MOST happy about - I'm gonna finally get to see Ghost Rider on the big screen with cool special effects!!!!!!
YEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
You gotta understand,...I'm a comic book buff from the way-back-o-sphere.
And I'm a Ghost Rider buff too. In 1974, I got introduced to Ghost Rider comic books by my best friend's big brother...and from the first page I was HOOKED! Not long after that, after I got a bicycle with those "ape hanger" sort of handlebars, I and my group of friends used to play Ghost Rider with our bicycles, with me being Blaze of course...even though I was a girl it didn't matter, I still won the role of "Blaze"...because,...
....... I had invented the thrilling stunt of riding while my bike was on fire!!!
I would steal my mom's Ronsonol lighter fluid, and use it to soak a few adhesive bubblegum-card stickers which I had stuck on the chain-cover and axles of my bike, and then.....VOILA! I'd take off riding down the hill by our house - and for about five good seconds there, I was Ghost Rider - bike flaming in the wind until the stickers burned out. Then I would hit the backbrakes and skid sideways to a stop for the big finish. Never got burned even once, but, did get grounded for the stunt and for stealing the lighter fluid.
OK,...so, I suppose I was not your average "normal" girl child.
ANYHOO..............can't wait to see the movie. Man, they must've used a lotta lighter fluid.
