This post outlines the basic rules for carrying the Mascot.
1. The Mascot can only be carried and passed to registered members of HDForums.com.
2. The Mascot can only be moved on a Harley Davidson motorcycle or a Harley Davidson custom or chopper. (Sorry no cars, planes, boats, or other makes of motorcycles
can be used.)
3. All actual HDF Members are eligilbe to sign the Mascot. One signature per HDF Member is allowed on the Mascot
4. A photo or photos of the members involved in the ride should be submitted along with a story and route the Mascot moved. Please submit these stories to Tripper so that he can update the "Travels Of The Mascot" thread.
These are good but can we add that the mascot be must moved and held by members in good standing? Like the BOTM voting!? Right now the mascot is stuck and the person that is holding it has not been responding to repeted efforts to contact him and get a hand off arranged. I vote that like BOTM the mascot be in the possesion of members that are actively on the forum. It can and should be avaialble for all to sign and get photo's but as far as actual possesion for movment sake it should be in the hands of those that are reading and posting on the forum so that contact can be made with out delay and the person on posession MUST be monitoring the forum and making effort to be in contact with the next member to make a hand off.
Sorry about he Missing in Action status. I have the mascot, with no intention of stalling its movement. I've been extremely busy and away from the forum since shortly after the handoff. I have it in Paso Robles, and am open to any ideas re; how to move it northward as seems to be its next logical direction. Sorry about the delay, though as long as it was stalled prior to my receiving it I wasn't hugely worried... my mistake. I am open to all suggestions. Also, I have pics of the handoff, but thought it was up to the previous carrier to post, and then as said before, was away from the forum a while. I'll throw together a brief description of the handoff, and post pics, within the next couple of days. Again, my apologies for any misunderstanding.
