Gonna be a wet nasty ride. I got caught in it last night and set my alarm so I would have time to wash my bike before heading out. No need for that now LOL!
GOT IT!!!! Made it back to Macon safe and sound about 3 pm, (hey, I had to eat on the way back you know) Left Macon via I-75 N about 9:30 and arrived at Clayton Co. HD near Atlanta about 11 am. Met up with Kevin, "ApeKing"and a riding buddy of his shortly after. We did the meet and greet thing, walked around the HD store and checked out the "stuff", exchanged stories and had a good time. We left out about 1pm and I headed south on SR 54 to US 41/19 south and rode it all the way to US 341 at Barnsville. Turning left, east, onto SR 74 all the way back to Macon. I rode with about 6 other bikes on SR 74 all heavy crusers, into Macon. All in all it was a good ride. Good to meet you Kevin.
btw, rain held off for most of the ride, had only a few sprinkles around McDonough, Ga. It was cloudy/overcast about 70* all the way up. Sun came out just before we left and dried up most of the wet spots.
