There is a packet of wires and a wire harness coming out of my ignition control module. The harness is zip tied to the frame, right under my seat. A couple days ago, while driving over some railroad tracks, my bike sputtered and stalled on me. I had plenty of fuel, so I figured it must have been an electrical problem. Anyway, while farting around with the wires coming out of the control module, I got the bike to fire up after a couple attempts to start it. I moved the harness around and tried to situate it as far away from my seat as possible. I think my big *** bounced a little hard on the seat, which caused the wires to get pinched.
If those wires get pinched or moved, will it cause the bike to stall? I figure since they are connected to the ignition coil, if it fails, the spark plugs won't fire. Is this a common problem?
