Has anyone went from an FP3 to a Screaming Eagle Tuner? I've struggled to get the bike running well since I got the FP3 and I'm starting to think my sanity is worth more than the $300 I spent on it. The bike idles like crap...sounds like it's going to stall and die plus it bogs down terrible when taking off from a stop. Called Vance and Hines and they reworked a map but that didn't help so they said they were going to work on it again and call me when it was done. It's been about a month now since I've heard from anyone so I assume they lost interest...or it's going to be a hell of a map like no other when they get it finished. My dealer said they couldn't help with the Idle and take off issue since it's an FP3 and they don't work with that tuner. I've noticed that a lot of bikes that have had the dealer download and S.E. tuner seem to have no problems (tuner wise) and that's why I'm considering going that route. I'm not looking to run a 10 second quarter mile...I just want my bike running the way it should.
Not what you want to hear, but I might be right behind you on that one ...I was starting to think there was something weird about my bike or because I was in the UK or something
What is your build if you don't mind me asking?
Gordon

Please send me an e-mail to cneely@vanceandhines.com so I can get more information on your setup to help assist you. I will also need your VIN.
The symptoms you are describing seem to relate with the O2 sensors backwards. However, you should see troublecodes if this is case.
