Default Help me understand.

The bike I have now is my first efi bike. Been trying to wrap my mind around tuning. Been reading about it so much. I have been having dreams about tuning. Anyway I have a power vision. Question about closed loop bias. I understand that a setting of 450 will run stoich. A higher setting will be richer. A lower setting leaner but why? If the VE tables and the AFR tables are right. Why would you need closed loop bais? If you want it richer or leaner why not just adjust the AFR tables? Thanks!

One thing to note. With narrow band o2 sensors you can only adjust the AFR so much and still get reliable readings.

Outside of that I'm gonna subscribe so I can follow the experts

I found the TTS manual gives the best explanation of how a Tuner works. For an explanation of why they use CLB tables look at page 7.
