Low Rider S problem
Map sensor, 02 sensors, CKP sensor, fuel injectors, throttle position sensor, IAC, oil pressure sending unit, ignition, fuel pump/sending unit, ignition switch(kill switch), key switch, neutral safety switch, jiffy stand (assuming kickstand position sensor), active exhaust (butterfly in the exhaust that regulates back pressure for torque or go wide open for WOT like on my brother in laws crotch rocket) I think I'm guna tell ford to shove it and go fix Harleys these things are simple! same rule applies though. NO SUSPENSION WORK (hate suspension work I hate it with a passion)
13fxdwg it sounds like you really know your stuff at least when it comes to Fords. My 2012 F-250 had had EGT sensor fails 4 times. #12 failed twice. It is my understanding all four are the same just in different locations. I keep a new one in a repair kit just in case I'm in the middle of nowhere to have a chance of getting out. Ford sent me 2 letters extending the warranty on the sensors, the first to 75,000 miles and another one to 100,000. That's one electrical problem they are still dealing with.
Yes I do. If you ever strip out a sensor bung there's a place that sells new bungs. Last dealer I worked at in ny when a tech stripped one out while I was out for a day, was going to replace the entire trash can of doom and the truck was out of warranty by mileage. 10 bucks for the new bung and 1/2 an hour with a mig welder I had the truck up and running. Ever have any issues with your truck message me. I still have friends who are techs that call me and I wind up fixing them over the phone. They tell me the symptoms and pid data, just walked a guy through a 6.2 with dead miss on cyl 1 low relative compression cyl 1. Was a broken valve spring, the cam follower was in the bottom of the head where I said it would be, HLA was collapsed just like I said it would. I wanted to be a field service engineer because I fix the nightmares nobody can figure out.
