Keep doing what you are doing by asking questions and educating yourself. Look into flash based tuners and leave the others alone. Also be aware of the PM's selling you this or that. There is a reason they don't like doing that in the open. Because people will call them on their BS.
If this is something you are going to tackle on your own? I'd suggest downloading the programs and instructions. Get a feel for them. If you are going to use a dyno tuner. Talk to them about which tuner and buy it from them.
