Update
already had cam chest open to check cam timing when sump check was suggested so just kept going.
Cam timing was perfect.
Scavenge o ring was not... wasnt pinched but was definitely loose fit with pump. Installed new one and was a nice tight fit sliding pump back on. Got a feeling you guys nailed it. Pushrods and pipe go back on tonight with test ride to follow.
Thank you so much for help guys!!!
Just remember that if it was sumping and you have not drained the crankcase, it might take a few minutes of enginee run time for the pump to clear out the excess oil. Let it idle till its warm , then light throttle application for a bit and listen to it, as you ride, then see how it acts.

Fired her up after assembly. No ride yet. Warmed it up and drained oil for a change and I dont have a filter. Damn
seemed to rev quicker. Im optimistic!
will get filter tomorrow and load her with fresh oil and post results after ride.
Again, cant thank you guys enough for suggestions!
beers are on me if either of you cross my path!
Update. New scavenge o ring. Re-set cam timing. All buttoned up and test rode. Smoother and a TON more power. Even ran cooler.
Feel dumber than a pile of rocks that I didnt catch this but Ive got a whole new motor. Cant wait to get it back on dyno!
im 300lbs and pulling away from a stop if i crack to wide open throttle (once clutch is fully out) it will spin the crap out of the wheel and when i switch to second it keeps blacktracking the tire for about 30 feet.
Couldn't be more happy. Thanks for all the help.
After dyno i will post results.
I've been working on bikes for 35 years more pro than not, and TC's since they came out, and of all the bikes that i've worked on, the one where i made this error was my own bike!!
glad to hear that you got it worked out and anxious to see the dyno results, good job!!
